Oh, Guinness Book of World Records...without you, we wouldn't know that a guy in Alabama (all grown up, not a kid) blew the largest bubblegum bubble ever (it was 20 inches in diameter). Or that the biggest natural boobs in the world measure in at 70 inches (ouch). Or that the most makeovers given in 24 hours is 403. That
last record was set by five Ulta makeup artists, who went through 95
lipsticks and glosses, 60 eye shadows, and 1,500 Q-tips in the process,
as reported by the World Record Academy (yes, that's a thing that really
exists). Today, Mary Kay is looking to set a new type of record,
with makeup artists teaching (450 and counting) women in 20 countries
how to do makeovers on themselves.
There's also a very nice charity component: Today's event kicks off Mary Kay's Global Makeover Contest, in which you can enter a makeover story to win one of fifty $5,000 donations to select charities supporting women and children (you can enter at marykay.com). Good luck!
